Price Guide: How Much Do Tiger River Spas Cost?

Tiger River Spas were produced by Watkins Wellness. This large spa business has many years of experience in the industry having been established in the late 1970s. It produces the famous spa brands Hot Spring Spas, Caldera Spas, Endless Pools, Fantasy Spas, and Freeflow Pools.

The purchase price of your hot tub will depend on the model you choose. A large feature-rich spa will set you back a lot more money than a small plug-and-play tub.

Various other factors that you should take into account, that can affect the overall cost of getting a spa, are delivery and installation costs. Again, a plug-and-play spa will have cheaper installation costs since you won't need an electrician to do the wiring.

Prices, as well as stock, will vary from dealer to dealer and the second-hand market, so it is worth having a shop around in order to find the best deal. In general, though, expect to pay around $3,000 to $10,000 for a Tiger River Spa.

How Do Tiger River Spas Stack Up Against The Competition?

If you are wondering about how this hot tub brand compares to other popular brands out there like Hot Springs, then next, let's take a look at some of the pros and cons of choosing this particular hot tub brand.

Pros

With similar technology to Hot Springs hot tubs for example the moto massage, this spa brand has a great jet system for an excellent hydrotherapy experience and has had lots of great customer reviews.

The JetStream® jet is designed to target a strong massage on specific body areas, in particular the lower back, hips, feet, and legs.

The Precision® jets, create a small narrow stream of water and are grouped together in order to deliver an extremely soothing massage targeting the shoulder, neck, and back areas, whilst the FootWell® system found in the Bengal, Caspian, and Siberian tubs deliver soothing foot hydrotherapy.

The rotary and directional hydrotherapy jets are fully adjustable so you can set the intensity of the massage plus these nozzles are also interchangeable for maximum versatility.

The hot tub cabinets are all made from SureWood®, a polymer that is rigid and combines the natural redwood look with durability and resistance against the elements.

These quality hot tub models all feature the Everfresh® water care system plus the Freshwater Ag+ silver ions water purifier so you can use fewer harsh chemicals to keep your hot tub water clean and fresh.

Cons

When it comes to replacing parts, since these models are a few years old now there may potentially be issues with getting those replacement parts however, in general, there are plenty still available on the market.

Finding out the cost of a spa will usually require you to contact a store or dealer to get a quote and you may have to shop around to find the best deal. If you are sold one second hand make sure you get it checked out properly, as you don't want to realize that you've been sold a dud once money has changed hands.

There are plenty of positive customer reviews however some customers have had problems with leaks and being left with a water-logged yard. Water leaks into the foam are apparently particularly difficult to fix. Another customer posted about an issue with the water not getting to heat.

The Final Verdict

Produced by the famous Wellness Watkins Spa Company, which also makes top hot tub brands such as Hot Spring Spas, Tiger River has a delightful collection of energy-efficient hot tubs with plenty of great features.

Whatever your hot tub requirements, you will be sure to find something suitable in the Tiger River line-up. There are plenty of great deals to be had on the second-hand market, some dealers also throw in spa accessories and a new cover. Customer after customer have found Tiger River hot tubs to be reliable and a good investment.
